Beat the heat during the summer by automating your old fan! It's very simple with no wiring required - just plug your fan into Shelly Plug S and use Shelly Plus H&T to measure the temperature in the room! This way, when a certain temperature is reached, Shelly Plus H&T can trigger Shelly Plug to turn the fan off, as well as back on! For example, if Shelly Plus H&T measures temperature over 28°C, it can trigger Shelly Plug to automatically turn on the fan. If the temperature falls below 22°C, the fan can be automatically turned back off.
When an electrical appliance is damaged, it doesn't simply stop working. Usually, it increases the amount of energy used in an attempt to compensate for its operational capacity. Since there is no visible difference in its performance, it might take months before you can identify a problem, leading to inefficiency and wasted energy. Shelly, however, will immediately report the increase in energy consumption and will save you additional expenses on repairs or replacement of equipment.
Shelly Flood sensor can prevent potential threats, including equipment damage by simply placing the smart sensor close to your connected appliances, like dryers, refrigerators, or washing machines. If Shelly Flood detects any leaks, it will immediately trigger Shelly Plus 1PM to cut off the power supply of the socket, preventing potential threats.
Controlling the temperature at home has never been easier! There is no need to invest in expensive smart appliances. If you have an old space heater, don't let go of it just yet! Instead, make it smart by simply plugging it into Shelly Plug! Then, create a scene with Shelly Plus H&T and have the heater turn on once the sensor detects a drop in temperature levels. And the cherry on top? You’ll always know how much energy you’re consuming!
