Shelly Group is on track for a record-breaking year as global demand for its smart home and IoT solutions continues to accelerate. A key driver behind this growth is the company’s cloud platform, which has recorded nearly 26,000 newly registered devices per day since the start of 2025.
Over 17,000 of these devices are activated daily via Shelly Cloud, while more than 9,000 connect through third-party platforms—a strong indicator of the system’s flexibility and wide compatibility.
With over 3,000 new smart homes added each day, Shelly expects to exceed 10 million registered devices within a single year for the first time.
“In 2023, we surpassed 10 million devices sold since the launch of our first Shelly products back in 2018—now, we’re on track to reach those numbers within just one year,” said Dimitar Dimitrov, Co-CEO of Shelly Group.
“This growth reflects not only the strong international demand for our solutions, but also the scalability of our technology platform. Our open system architecture allows a high level of integration and meets the needs of both tech-savvy consumers and professional users. Alongside our active developer community, this architecture continues to drive innovation, reach, and long-term growth.", Dimitrov added.
Each day, more than 2,500 new Shelly Cloud accounts are created, and nearly 600 third-party systems are integrated—clear evidence of the platform’s growing appeal and versatility.
Shelly devices connect seamlessly with over 200 third-party smart home applications, as well as leading platforms like Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings.
“Shelly Cloud is not only the technological backbone of our product offering—it’s also a key lever for scaling our business model,” commented Wolfgang Kirsch, Co-CEO of Shelly Group.
“The ever-increasing number of connected devices and expanding integrations with other service providers highlight the market potential of our open-platform approach. It enables us to unlock additional revenue opportunities through cloud-based services and licensing models, while strengthening customer loyalty and long-term engagement.
As a result, Shelly Cloud is becoming a strategic growth engine—both in terms of operational performance and our global market positioning.”, Kirsch said.
As Shelly Group continues its global expansion and advances its cloud capabilities, it remains focused on delivering reliable, high-performance IoT solutions tailored to the real needs of users.
