Good to know
Do I need Shelly Premium to use Camera Storage?
No. Shelly Cloud Camera Storage and Shelly Premium are separate subscriptions. You can subscribe to Camera Storage without activating Shelly Premium.
Can I use Shelly Cloud Camera Storage plan and Shelly Premium together?
Yes. Both subscriptions can be active on the same Shelly account. Your total camera allowance combines the cameras included in your Shelly Cloud Camera Storage plan with one additional camera from Shelly Premium.
How much recording history is included?
Shelly Cloud Camera Storage gives you access to up to 30 days of video clips and image snapshots.
Which objects can the camera recognize?
AI object recognition can distinguish between people, pets, and vehicles.
Are my recordings encrypted?
Yes. Videos are encrypted and can only be unlocked with a unique password set by the user for each device. The password is never stored in the cloud.
Can I change my Shelly Cloud Camera Storage plan?
Yes. You can upgrade to a plan that supports more cameras from the Subscription section of Shelly Smart Control. Plan upgrades can be made once every 24 hours.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel your recurring subscription from the Shelly Smart Control app or directly through PayPal. Access remains available until the end of the current billing period.
Does Shelly Cloud Camera Storage plan include live streaming?
Live streaming is available to Shelly camera users and does not require a camera storage subscription. Shelly Cloud Camera Storage plan adds cloud recording, extended history, encryption, AI recognition, and enhanced event tracking.
