Simple integration of partner products thanks to the open ecosystem

Shelly is further expanding its “Powered by Shelly” ecosystem and is presenting numerous new partner products at IFA 2026 which, thanks to the integrated Shelly X modules, are fully embedded in the Shelly platform. All “Powered by Shelly” products offer the full range of Shelly platform functions and can be integrated intuitively into existing systems. Users can connect devices across manufacturers, create individual automations and use numerous smart home platforms. The open ecosystem enables partners to equip their products with proven Shelly technology and to offer their users a seamless smart home experience.
Product highlights of the “Powered by Shelly” ecosystem
With Hörmann and Rademacher, two well-known German companies are relying on the Shelly X platform for joint product development.
Hörmann, Europe's leading supplier of doors, gates, frames and operators, puts its trust in Shelly X technology. Via a new "Powered by Shelly" gateway, mounted directly on the operator, selected Hörmann door solutions become part of the Shelly ecosystem. This makes garage doors, industrial doors and gate systems a fully integrated part of the connected building. Thanks to the open interfaces built into Shelly firmware — including local APIs and MQTT — status and control are available not only in the Shelly app, but also in automation platforms and professional building management systems.
Rademacher is embracing the same concept. The German specialist for roller shutter and sun protection technology is developing a smart belt winder based on Shelly X. Replacing the existing manual mechanism in minutes and without rewiring, it delivers what homeowners want from automated shading: lower cooling costs in summer, added safety, and everyday comfort. All of it factory-fitted, with no extra Shelly modules behind switches or in the distribution board.
A particular advantage of smart roller shutter control: the energy savings are not limited to the warm months. Closed roller shutters form an additional layer of insulation in front of the window, reducing heat loss during the heating season. Thanks to automatic control, they close exactly when it matters, at sunset or from a defined outdoor temperature onwards, and open again in the morning to make use of solar heat gains. The smart belt winders also add value in terms of security: thanks to schedule-based control, the home appears occupied even during longer absences, without anyone having to intervene on site. In everyday use, reaching for the belt is no longer necessary at all. The roller shutter moves according to a schedule, via the app or as part of a scene together with lighting and heating. Obstacle detection protects the mechanism and the slats, and an individually definable favorite position moves the shutter to the desired shading height.
Both manufacturers are thus opting for a reliable, European solution and offering their customers genuine added value. At the same time, end customers are spared the additional step of installing smart devices separately behind the control unit.
Further new products include the TopAC EVPC02-22W Wall Charger, a 22 kW wallbox that can be integrated directly into Shelly automations. This means, for example, that an electric vehicle can be charged automatically whenever surplus energy from the photovoltaic system is available – for particularly efficient and sustainable use of self-generated electricity. The charger can easily be integrated with Shelly’s EM line of products to automatically lower the charging power to limit the total power consumption of the home or connect to an OCPP server for business and industrial installations.
Also new to the “Powered by Shelly” ecosystem is the EON MI 800S from EONLAND. The compact micro inverter for two solar panels features two independent MPPT inputs for optimum energy yield and can be controlled either via the Shelly Smart Control app or locally. This makes it even easier to integrate balcony power plants and small photovoltaic systems into the smart home.
With the Inkbird IAM-T1, Shelly is also expanding its portfolio to include an intelligent air quality sensor. The battery-powered device measures indoor CO2 concentration, temperature, humidity and air pressure, shows the readings on an integrated display and can use Shelly automations to trigger ventilation systems or notifications, for example, as soon as defined limits are exceeded.
The ecosystem is also continuing to grow in the field of intelligent lighting. The HiluX LED Driver from Light Solutions combines high-quality lighting design with comprehensive smart home functions. Thanks to full Shelly integration, it can be controlled directly via the app, incorporated into automations and used at the same time as a WLAN repeater and Bluetooth gateway for Shelly BLU devices.
With the continuous expansion of the “Powered by Shelly” range, Shelly underlines its ambition to create an open, manufacturer-independent smart home ecosystem. The new products show how a wide variety of application areas – from energy and e-mobility to lighting – can be intelligently networked with one another, offering users greater convenience, efficiency and flexibility in everyday life.
