Combine the BLU TRV with Shelly BLU H&T ZB or H&T Gen3. These sensors measure room temperature and humidity. Place the H&T in the middle of the room, not directly at the radiator. You can control heating costs using weather forecasts. One way is via a script. If you use Shelly Pro 3EM together with the Shelly Pro 3EM Add-on, the 3EM can take the actions defined in your script as soon as it receives real-time weather data. If a sunny day is forecast, for example, the add-on can switch the heating off so rooms don’t overheat. Even easier: use weather-based scenes in the Premium App features.

If installation allows, use the Shelly BLU TRV as an actuator for the underfloor-heating circuit valves. Alternatively, Shelly 1 Gen3 can act as the actuator for the underfloor-heating manifold. The BLU H&T ZB sensor provides the room temperature and humidity; with this data Shelly 1 Gen3 increases heat output when the room is too cold.
