IFA 2026: Shelly presents new smart home and energy solutions for greater flexibility, security and efficiency

At IFA 2026, Shelly is presenting a wide range of new intelligent solutions. The focus is on smart security options, new control and display products, and further devices in the Gen4 and BLU ZB series. This expansion gives users even greater flexibility in choosing their smart home infrastructure while providing powerful solutions for energy efficiency, comfort and building automation.

Shelly Camera – intelligent monitoring with a focus on privacy  

With the Shelly Camera, smart video monitoring is being added to the Shelly ecosystem for the first time. The result is even more comprehensive and reliable protection, as well as a solid basis for automations. 

The high-performance camera enables continuous monitoring of selected areas and is ideal for improving security at home. As usual, the device integrates fully into the Shelly ecosystem and can be used purely for observation – of pets, for example – as a baby monitor or as an additional layer of protection for the home. Automations can also be triggered, creating a further layer of security. 

The compact design blends discreetly into any living or working environment while delivering HD video for reliable monitoring. With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, setup is complete in just a few minutes. Via the Shelly app, users are notified immediately when motion is detected and receive a preview of the recorded content. Thanks to cloud-based AI-object recognition, the camera also reports exactly what was detected: a person, a vehicle or a pet. This lets users see at a glance whether, for instance, someone enters the garage or a pet has entered a room. 

Individual detection zones can also be defined in order to monitor specific areas. Particular attention has been paid to protecting privacy: with freely definable exclusion zones, a password-protected privacy mode and the choice between local storage on an SD card or the secure, EU-based Shelly Cloud, users retain full control over their data at all times. In Addition, Footage stored in the Shelly Cloud is encrypted at rest, giving users maximum protection. The cloud infrastructure is operated exclusively within the European Union and meets high European data protection standards. Users decide for themselves whether their recordings are stored locally or backed up in the cloud. 

More comfort and control with the Shelly Wall Display X1i 

With the new Shelly Wall Display X1i, the further development of its predecessor, Shelly presents a powerful control panel that combines lighting control, heating and cooling regulation, and scene and device control in a single compact touch display. The powerful quad-core processor ensures fast, fluid operation, while the customisable home screen and the integrated proximity and gestor sensors make use intuitive and convenient. Thanks to native Home Assistant integration, users can create their own dashboards via Home Assistant and manage them through the Shelly Wall Display. At the same time, integrated energy monitoring delivers real-time insights into the consumption of connected Shelly PM devices, supporting more efficient energy use. With a replaceable 100–240 V power base, USB-C power supply and integrated relay, the Shelly Wall Display X1i offers versatile applications for living areas, offices and shared spaces where central, flexible and straightforward control is required. 

LOQED Pure: smart door security in a minimalist design  

With LOQED Pure, Shelly is expanding its portfolio with a slim premium smart lock that combines maximum convenience with comprehensive security. SKG*** certification stands for strong burglary protection, while fully keyless access via smartphone – through the LOQED and Shelly apps – as well as via the supplied Shelly BLU Button Tough 1 ZB makes everyday life easier. The smart lock impresses with fast response times, opening and closing in just two seconds, particularly quiet operation and high-quality premium materials. Flexible configuration options, compatibility with the LOQED Touch Display and integration into smart home platforms such as Shelly, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant make the lock highly versatile. Administrators can also grant and manage time-controlled remote access, allowing smart access control to be coordinated simply and intuitively.
