New Smart Devices Unveiled at Light + Building

At this year’s Light + Building (March 8–13), Shelly is showcasing numerous new products that further expand the “Powered by Shelly” ecosystem. Each device is equipped with the ShellyX chip and offers the full functionality of the Shelly platform. Devices can be intuitively added to the Shelly Smart Control App, unlocking all Shelly features and enabling flexible integration into existing smart home setups. Users benefit from unified control, powerful automation capabilities, and broad system compatibility – all without additional gateways.
The new “Powered by Shelly” products
Light Solutions HiluX DS8 is a new LED spotlight that combines professional-grade quality (CRI>=95), Scandinavian design, 360° tilting and modern smart home technology. With direct Wi-Fi connectivity, no additional bridge is required. Control is fully available through the Shelly app, voice assistants, or smart home platforms such as Home Assistant or Homey. Additionally, the direct BLU connection allows control via Shelly BLU switches – ideal for flexible, wireless lighting installations, even in professional settings.
Light Solitions HiluX LED driver enhances the lighting portfolio of Powered by Shelly devices even further. The driver features variants of the product for multiple current requirements, support for hardwired external switch or a button, strong support for control over Shelly BLU devices, the Shelly app, Home Assistant or Homey and many more.
The ecosystem is further expanded with the Yihao YH0002-A, a compact chain drive for smart retrofitting of roller shutters, blinds, or awnings with chain or cord operation. This device motorizes existing manual systems, making them fully automatable – perfect for modernizations without structural changes. For added convenience, the RAEX Automatic Curtain System, a motorized curtain rail with integrated Shelly Smart technology & native Matter support, is also introduced.
Thanks to the telescopic rod, it can be adapted to different window widths and seamlessly integrated into automations and scenes.
Proven “Powered by Shelly” Highlights
In addition to the new devices, the ecosystem already includes powerful solutions that complement Shelly’s smart home platform. For example, the Ecowitt WS90, a solar-powered outdoor weather station, measures wind, precipitation, temperature, humidity, UV, and air pressure. It features Bluetooth and Zigbee connectivity, low-maintenance solid-state sensors, and precise data visualization in the Shelly app – providing reliable weather data for intelligent automation and a safe home.
Also notable is the Neo Smart Water Valve, an NSF-certified smart DN25 brass valve for drinking water systems. It provides precise ultrasonic measurements of flow, pressure, and temperature, real-time monitoring, and automatic opening and closing. Control is available directly via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth in the Shelly app, with no hub required. Thanks to its robust design, high measurement accuracy, and integrated local web interface, it is suitable for both private and professional applications.
