Shelly Group is expanding its smart home ecosystem with an entirely new product category – Shelly Camera. The compact indoor smart camera combines Full HD video monitoring with intelligent features and greater control over personal data, making it suitable for homes, apartments, offices, and small businesses.
Designed as an integrated part of the Shelly ecosystem, Shelly Camera can communicate with other connected devices and participate in local automations. When motion is detected, it can automatically start recording and send a notification with a visual preview through the Shelly Smart Control app. AI-based recognition helps identify people, pets, and vehicles, while custom monitoring zones allow users to focus on specific areas and reduce unnecessary notifications.
Intelligent Monitoring with Privacy at Its Core
Shelly Camera supports local storage via microSD card and secure cloud storage within the European Union. It also supports local AI models, giving advanced users the flexibility to build customized recognition scenarios and fully local automation systems. The camera integrates with popular platforms, including Home Assistant, Frigate NVR, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings.
With Full HD 1080p video, a wide field of view, night vision, two-way audio, and flexible mounting options, Shelly Camera is suitable for monitoring homes, pets, children, entrances, garages, offices, and small commercial premises. The camera is available in black and white and comes with a two-year manufacturer's warranty.
