The Shelly Wall Display is a smart control panel for the wall. You can use it to control the devices you have already set up in the Shelly app or via Home Assistant - for example lights, heating or scenes.
You set the display yourself directly on the display. So you decide what is visible. The advantage: You don't need your smartphone - a tap on your wall display is enough.
There are two models to choose from: the compact Shelly Wall Display and the larger Wall Display X2 with a 6.95-inch colour display. They differ in size, but both offer the same functions and impress with a modern design that fits perfectly into your home.
The Shelly Wall Display is your smart control centre - directly on the wall and always ready for use. With a tap of your finger, you can switch on the light in the living room, set the desired temperature in the bathroom or activate the "Good night" scene throughout the house. Particularly practical: the favourites area shows you what you need most often - without having to search for it.
You can customise the home screen, for example with icons for each family member or specific rooms. The display also informs you about the weather, humidity or current room data such as open windows, which it records via integrated or linked room sensors. This gives you a quick and reliable overview of all information.
Wall Display X2 with 6.95" colour display shows the start screen, room data, energy consumption and allows all appliances to be controlled centrally at the touch of a finger - simply and efficiently.

You can see your personal favourites, device groups or rooms on the start screen. Important: You add the desired Shelly devices manually on the display - they do not appear automatically Operation is convenient via touchscreen: You can control devices, change rooms or activate scenes - for example "Leave home", which switches off all the lights and shuts down the heating.
Sensor values such as temperature, humidity or brightness are displayed automatically. For detailed settings, you can also use the Shelly app or Home Assistant. There you will find all options clearly organised - for example in tabs such as "Device details", "Network", "Schedules" or "Scenes". The menu navigation is clearly structured so that you can find your way around immediately, even without prior knowledge.
With Home Assistant, you can get even more out of your Shelly Wall Display: The official Shelly integration allows you to seamlessly integrate the display into your smart home - without any additional devices. You can centrally control not only Shelly products, but also devices from other manufacturers (e.g. Philips Hue, Sonos, IKEA and many more).
Create your own dashboards that are shown directly on the display - for light, heating or security functions, for example. Particularly practical: if you have installed displays in several rooms, you can control exactly what you need there. Home Assistant turns your display into an individual control centre for automations and scenarios - just the way you want it.
Yes, in conjunction with a Shelly TRV (thermostatic valve) or Shelly H&T (temperature and humidity sensor) you can use it to control the heating. It displays temperature data and allows control via scenes.
The power consumption of the Shelly Wall Display is less than 1 watt in operation. The display is therefore very energy-efficient and can be used continuously without any noticeable additional costs.
Partly yes. Basic functions such as light control via the integrated switch work. However, Wi-Fi is required for cloud services, app control or updates.
