However, it does not cover consumable items like batteries or accessories, as their lifespan depends on how much they are used.

Die Steuerung der Ladeleistung via API / MQTT ist NICHT möglich. Nur über Umwege mit einer z.B. Shelly 3 EM. Ich hoffe sehr, dass dies in den nächsten Firmware Updates behoben wird!
Ansonsten ein TOP Gerät.

Good basis but still with few control options via API
I use the charger in combination with HomeAssistant to charge and monitor our electric car.
Unfortunately, some options can currently not be used locally via API. The charger can be connected to a Shelly 3EM for PV surplus charging, but finer control via API does not seem to be possible at the moment. There is also no persistent recording of total consumption in the device. This value is always reset to 0 when unplugged.
I think more is possible with the Shelly chip as a basis.
The documentation is also very brief and only contains the most essential information.
For these reasons, I can only recommend the product to a limited extent.
