Endless use applications
There is no need to invest in expensive smart appliances. If you have an old space heater, don't let go of it just yet! Instead, make it smart by simply plugging it into Wave Plug UK! Then, create a scene and have the heater turn on when the room temperature drops below your desired level. And the cherry on top? You always know how much energy you are consuming!
Have you left an appliance running at home, wasting energy or
causing damage? With Wave Plug UK, you can control and monitor all plugged-in appliances easily and simply with just a click or set scenes, so forgotten devices can automatically switch off after a pre-set time to save energy or, even more importantly, to prevent damage.
Are your kids having holidays while you're at work, worrying that they might spend the entire day watching TV? Wave Plug UK is a family-friendly device, as you can set schedules to limit TV/computer time for your teenager, or it can help you prevent unnecessary energy consumption by automatically turning off your kids‘ toy chargers.
Discover energy wastes or forecast and optimize your expenses! Wave Plug UK enables you to monitor the real-time energy consumption of all switched-on devices or their energy consumption over a certain period. The Plug‘s LED indication ring will also visually inform you of the device‘s current consumption – it will illuminate in green, yellow, or red, depending on how much power is being consumed.
When an electrical appliance is damaged, it doesn't simply stop working. Usually, it increases the amount of energy used in an attempt to compensate for its reduced operational capacity. You can set Wave Plug UK to notify you about any irregularities in the operation of your appliances. Additionally, its LED ring will start blinking in red if overheating, overcurrent, or overvoltage is detected. This way, you can check the cause of the deviation as soon as possible and even prevent any serious damage.
